About The Position

The Clinical & Regulatory Manager (CRM) is an RN with dialysis expertise who leads clinical quality, regulatory compliance, and outcome improvement across dialysis clinics spanning Northern and Central California (Yuba City to Bakersfield) and Roseburg, OR. This data‑driven role serves as the regional clinical subject matter expert by proactively identifying gaps in clinical practice and opportunities to improve patient outcomes, and escalating findings to appropriate corporate clinical and operational leaders to drive aligned, actionable improvements.

Requirements

  • Active RN license required; compact license preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience required, 6+ years strongly preferred.
  • At least 4 years of dialysis experience preferred (in‑center, home, acute, or multi‑site leadership).
  • Strong knowledge of CMS ESRD Conditions for Coverage, survey processes, and regulatory reporting systems.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and interpret clinical and operational data to influence outcomes and drive performance improvement.
  • Experience supporting or leading multi‑site healthcare operations.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly throughout California and Oregon.

Responsibilities

  • Lead regional clinical quality initiatives (QAPI, QIAs) with a strong emphasis on data gathering, analysis, and performance trend identification.
  • Partner strategically with the RVP to align clinical priorities with operational goals and develop targeted action plans based on data insights.
  • Use clinical and operational data to improve key clinical outcomes and prevent avoidable readmissions.
  • Ensure full compliance with CMS Conditions for Coverage, State regulations, ESRD Network requirements, and internal clinical policies.
  • Monitor and facilitate survey readiness activities, support external surveys, and guide corrective action planning.
  • Coach and develop clinical teams to strengthen competency, accountability, and adherence to clinical standards.
  • Monitor adverse events, incident investigations, and regulatory reporting (NHSN, EQRS, ESRD Network).
