About The Position

BrightStar Care of Westfield & Summit is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and experienced Clinical RN Supervisor to support our Director of Nursing and help ensure the highest quality of care for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled nurse who enjoys a balance of clinical oversight, fieldwork, and collaboration—without the burnout of a high-volume environment. As the RN Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing clinical operations, ensuring quality care delivery, maintaining compliance standards, and supporting both patients and field staff in a home health setting. This position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on nursing expertise with leadership responsibilities in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • IV Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a National League of Nursing accredited program
  • BLS or ACLS Certification
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Strong understanding of state and federal regulatory compliance
  • Commitment to HIPAA compliance and client confidentiality

Nice To Haves

  • Three (3) to five (5) years of clinical nursing experience
  • At least one (1) year of experience in a home health agency, primary care clinic, or healthcare facility
  • Previous home health care experience
  • Nursing instructor experience
  • Superior IV insertion and infusion skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing clinical operations to ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and quality standards
  • Support quality assurance and patient safety initiatives across all care services
  • Supervise, mentor, and support field nursing staff in the home health care setting
  • Conduct staff orientation and assist with ongoing education and training
  • Participate in interviewing and evaluating Registered Nurse applicants
  • Involvement in clinical program development
  • Provide and oversee patient-centered care based on individualized Plans of Care
  • Perform and supervise skilled nursing services, including: IV insertion and infusion therapy, Injections, Wound care, Blood glucose monitoring, Medication management, Vital signs assessments
  • Communicate with clients and their families to address concerns to ensure high-quality care
  • Assist the Director of Nursing with client assessments and reassessments as needed
