About The Position

Alpaca Health enables clinicians to become entrepreneurs, starting in autism care. We help clinicians launch and scale their own clinics by providing AI-powered software, payer contracting, and full back-office infrastructure. Our goal is simple: shift power in healthcare away from large consolidated entities and back to clinicians. We've raised over $14M in funding from early-stage investors like Core Innovation Capital, Adverb Ventures, and South Park Commons, and are building for long-term category leadership. More importantly, we're serving hundreds of patients, while growing 30% MoM. This role is full-time. While we prefer candidates based in NYC or open to relocating who are open to 5 days a week in the office, we are also open to remote candidates.

Requirements

  • 1-4 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer success, or another relationship-driven role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to build something meaningful alongside a high-performing team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a startup, healthcare, education, or SMB-focused environment is a plus
  • Preference for experience in ABA

Responsibilities

  • Own the full recruitment process from outbound prospecting through signed partnership agreements
  • Conduct discovery conversations with BCBAs and ABA practice owners to understand their goals, challenges, and growth plans
  • Educate prospective providers on Alpaca's technology, operational support, and partnership model
  • Build trust with clinicians making one of the biggest career decisions of their lives
  • Consistently manage and advance a pipeline of opportunities
  • Experiment with new outreach, prospecting, and sales approaches to improve conversion rates
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to improve messaging, processes, and product offerings
  • Become an expert in the ABA industry, private practice ownership, and the challenges providers face
  • Help shape the future of Alpaca's provider acquisition strategy as we scale
