About The Position

Tailwind Care is building a better way to care for kids and teens with metabolic health concerns through a family-centered model. They aim to bring medical care, nutrition, and behavioral health together in one coordinated, evidence-based program, covered by insurance, to help children and teens build healthier lives. This role is for an experienced full-cycle clinical recruiter to manage clinician hiring from sourcing to accepted offer. The recruiter will source and hire physicians, advanced practice clinicians, registered dietitians, behavioral health clinicians, and other clinical roles. This is a hands-on position involving direct sourcing, reviewing applications, conducting initial interviews, managing candidates through the interview process, and driving offers. After an offer is accepted, candidates are handed off to the Clinical Operations team for contracting, credentialing, and onboarding. This role is ideal for someone with experience recruiting clinicians in a telehealth healthcare environment and who is comfortable owning the recruiting process end-to-end.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a full-cycle clinical recruiter, owning searches from sourcing through offer.
  • Experience recruiting licensed healthcare clinicians such as physicians, NPs/PAs, registered dietitians, therapists, or similar clinical professionals.
  • Recruiting experience at a healthcare organization with a significant telehealth or virtual-care component.
  • Strong direct-sourcing skills and experience building pipelines for hard-to-fill clinical roles.
  • Experience conducting initial candidate interviews and making informed recommendations.
  • Strong candidate-management skills, including managing multiple searches and interview processes simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Comfortable working independently in an early-stage environment where priorities and hiring needs can change quickly.
  • Based anywhere in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines by proactively sourcing clinicians through various channels like LinkedIn, professional communities, referrals, and targeted outreach.
  • Develop relationships with clinicians for current and future hiring needs.
  • Explore new sourcing channels, messaging, communities, and approaches when a search is not yielding results.
  • Review and screen applicants, assessing resumes and applications against role requirements, confirming basic licensing and eligibility, and determining advancement.
  • Conduct initial interviews to assess experience, communication, motivation, logistics, and overall fit.
  • Manage the interview process by coordinating candidates through clinical and leadership interviews, ensuring the process moves forward, and providing interviewers with necessary context.
  • Own the candidate experience through clear and prompt communication, keeping candidates engaged, and maintaining an organized and personal process.
  • Drive offers to acceptance by partnering with leadership on compensation and offer decisions, delivering offers, answering questions, and maintaining momentum.
  • Maintain a clean recruiting system by accurately updating candidate stages, notes, feedback, pipeline data, and next steps in the ATS.
  • Track recruiting performance by maintaining accurate pipeline data and reporting on sourcing activity, funnel conversion, hiring progress, and bottlenecks.
  • Contribute to building recruiting infrastructure by improving sourcing strategies, interview processes, templates, reporting, and other recruiting workflows.
  • Partner closely with clinical and operations leaders to understand success factors for clinicians and refine recruiting profiles.
