Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and compassionate manner.
  • Respond to inquiries, provide information, and handle patient concerns or complaints.
  • Facilitate the check-in and check-out process for patients.
  • Adhere to healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality.
  • Schedule and confirm follow up appointments. Schedule any additional testing required besides initial appointment.
  • Assist with data entry and maintain office supplies.
  • Uses an EMR system for scheduling and other needed tasks, such as billing.
  • Responsible for ensuring complete and accurate daily documentation is uploaded.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential electronic health records (EHR) for each patient.
  • Other duties as assigned
