All duties and responsibilities are to be performed in accordance with VITAS Healthcare Corporation’s policies, procedures, guidelines, contractual commitments, and governmental regulations. This role involves monitoring inbound/outbound phone calls, virtual visits, and agent documentation using quality assurance tools to ensure adherence to VITAS and nursing standards. The position requires field shadowing of local program RNs and working as a telephonic and virtual RN to support CCC operations. The individual will provide real-time feedback on customer service and clinical triage skills, ensure accurate assessments and documentation, and participate in quality assurance meetings and calibration sessions. This role also involves staying current with departmental updates, contributing to the design of call monitoring formats and quality standards, and using a data management system to track and report performance. The Clinical Quality Assurance professional will evaluate performance data to identify learning deficits and opportunities for improvement, provide actionable data to internal support groups, review documentation for compliance, and participate in assessing and conducting training on quality topics. The position may require performing other job-related duties as assigned.
