This position is for a Clinical Psychology Intern within the Department of Mental Health. The internship is designed to provide training and experience in various aspects of clinical psychology within a public sector setting. Interns will learn about the mission and functions of County institutions and their relationship to the community, as well as the purpose, methods, and functions of the treatment program. The role involves attending educational sessions, participating in staff discussions, interviewing clients, administering and interpreting psychological tests, developing treatment plans, providing supervised counseling, collecting outcome data, and potentially participating in research activities.
