Damar is currently seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist to join our integrated healthcare team at our East campus in Richmond, Indiana! The Clinical Psychologist works with both children and adults, completing intake and diagnostic appointments, consultations, and comprehensive psychological evaluations. Assessments may include cognitive, academic/achievement, social-emotional, behavioral, neuropsychological, autism, and other diagnostic assessments and symptom screeners, as clinically appropriate. The Clinical Psychologist provides individuals served and caregivers with comprehensive diagnostic reports, recommendations, and guidance to support ongoing care and treatment planning. At Damar, our Clinical Psychologists have the independence to manage their clinical work while being part of a collaborative, integrated healthcare team focused on providing high-quality, individualized care. We offer a flexible Monday-Friday schedule designed to support work-life balance, along with dedicated administrative support so you can focus your time on your patients and clinical work. Our administrative team handles scheduling, billing, and prior authorizations, allowing you to spend less time on administrative tasks and more time providing meaningful, quality care.

Requirements

  • PsyD or PhD
  • A minimum of 2 years completing diagnostic assessments
  • HSPP endorsement
  • Minimum age of 18 per licensure requirements
  • Be clear of any felony convictions, substantiated charges of neglect or other disqualifying criminal convictions
  • Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Favorably meet and maintain Damar’s background screening

Responsibilities

  • Conducts timely and thorough assessments and evaluations for assigned clients
  • Supervises and provides clinical guidance and training to the Psychometrists, reviewing all diagnosis and evaluations completed, approving work completed
  • Gathers collateral documentation by requesting, receiving and organizing previous mental health, medical, education and other records to be used in the overall assessment of the client and evaluation
  • Completes diagnostic interviews and uses screening tools to evaluate the need for further testing
  • Makes a clinical determination on the most appropriate assessments, measures, and tests to utilize
  • Completes all documentation, including but not limited to, evaluation reports within 15 business days of the date of service
  • Provides recommendations to caregivers both when a diagnosis is given and when a diagnosis is not
  • Utilizes a trauma assumed approach when addressing patient problem behavior
  • Seeks patient consent during the evaluation process
  • Ensures that documentation is consistent with billed services, is accurate, and legible
  • Interacts professionally with parents, school, medical personnel, and others using excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
