About The Position

This position is located at 78th Medical Group at Robins Air Force Base, Houston County, Georgia. It is located near the city of Warner Robins, Georgia. Robins Air Force Base is the home of the 78th Air Base Wing and its more than 50 mission partners that make up a vital part of the Air Force warfighting team. It is the largest single-site industrial complex in Georgia, employing a workforce of almost 22,000 civilians, contractors and military members. Requirements

• US Citizens
• Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.
• One year of specialized experience which includes conducting behavioral health assessments; providing individual and group treatment; and working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

• Document information in the electronic health record during patient encounters.
• Implement psychoeducational classes to target high frequency diagnoses found in the primary care clinic.
• Provide primary care providers and staff regular and concise feedback on the status of referred patients, to include recommendations for team-based care.
• Provide evidence-based treatment, including behavioral, cognitive, and motivational approaches.
• Apply biopsychosocial evaluations to propose behavioral health interventions.
