About The Position

Achieve Beyond is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Suffolk, NY. This role involves helping children with special needs reach their goals by conducting evaluations and providing ongoing services in homes, communities, and clinic settings. We specialize in ABA, Speech, Occupational, Social Work, and Physical therapy, as well as Special Education/SEIT services, serving children and families in the metro New York area and beyond. Requirements

Must have a passion for working with children and families!
Valid NYS Clinical Psychologist license
Must be self-motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism.
Ability to travel to and from assigned cases, including driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or the use of public transportation.
Ability to ascend and descend staircases.
Ability to lift 10 pounds regularly.
Ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Fluency in a language other than English is a plus!

Responsibilities

Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings.
Gather necessary information to conduct social histories.
Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner.
Write Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) goals.
Determine need for additional assessments per observation and child needs.
Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child.
Maintain confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA and State & Federal regulations) and submit records to agency within established deadlines.
