About The Position

The Clinical Program Manager is responsible for assisting the sales team in creating sales plans, marketing strategies, and renewal strategies for group accounts concerning clinical offerings. This role involves making formal presentations to prospective and existing clients, analyzing utilization data, and recommending changes. The manager will act as a consistent advisor to customers on clinical program performance and recommendations, meeting with key clients frequently to review clinical data, costs, and ROI. A key part of the role is partnering with account management and analytics to prepare insightful reporting that guides clients in making data-driven decisions. The manager will evaluate account utilization data to identify areas for targeting or opportunities for new programming/options to deliver savings and improve employee health. Responsibilities also include preparing responses to RFPs and analytical reports, developing relationships with consultants and/or brokers, and providing updates on Elevance Health's clinical programs and services. Additionally, the role involves advising Elevance Health Sales and Account Management on clinical programs and services for customer value and providing formal training when needed. Staying current on the latest trends in care management within Elevance Health, competitor offerings, and the healthcare industry overall is also crucial.

Requirements

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong planning, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • RN license and/or other clinical credentials preferred.
  • Business/consulting background preferred.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Makes formal presentations to prospective clients and existing clients, analyzing utilization data and presenting reports and recommended changes.
  • Supports customers acting as a consistent advisor for clinical program performance and recommendations.
  • Meets with key customers as frequently as monthly to review clinical data, costs and ROI.
  • Partners with account management and analytics to prepare insightful reporting that guides clients in making appropriate decisions based on their data.
  • Evaluates account utilization data to identify areas to target or where the client has an opportunity for new programming/options to deliver saving and improved employee health.
  • Prepares responses to RFPs and a variety of analytical reports for accounts in support of the program.
  • Develops relationships with consultants and/or brokers and provides updates on Elevance Health's clinical programs and services.
  • Advises Elevance Health Sales and Account Management on clinical programs and services related to delivering value for customers and provides formal training where needed.
  • Stays current on the latest trends in care management for Elevance Health, our competitors and within healthcare overall.
