About The Position

This role involves coordinating the activities and workflow of an assigned clinical program, specifically within the Dialysis department at the Administrative Offices in Austin, TX. The coordinator will facilitate the development, implementation, and evaluation of program services and initiatives, ensuring appropriate patient care is planned, implemented, and evaluated. A key responsibility includes determining and developing staff training programs. The position also requires collaboration with others to address problem identification and resolution, cost containment, new service implementation, and performance measures. The role includes managing the annual budget, participating in short and long-range planning, developing and monitoring annual goals, and implementing continuous quality improvement goals. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Licensed Counselor specializing in Chemical Dependency preferred.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, evaluate, and coordinate appropriate patient care.
  • Responsible for determining appropriate trainings for the staff and developing the learning program.
  • Collaborate with others to assist with problem identification and resolution, cost containment issues, implementation of new services, and systems/performance measures.
  • Manage annual budget.
  • Participate in short and long range planning.
  • Develop and monitor annual goals.
  • Develop and implement continuous quality improvement goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
