About The Position
This role involves providing expert clinical leadership and specialized nursing or midwifery advice to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery. The Clinical Practice Consultant will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support complex clinical care, champion evidence-based practices, contribute to quality improvement initiatives, and foster the development of clinical capabilities within the service.
Requirements
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
- At least 3 years’ post-registration experience with demonstrated expertise in the relevant area of nursing or midwifery practice.
- Strong clinical leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to guide teams and improve practice.
- Experience mentoring and developing staff.
- Commitment to evidence-based, person-centred care and service improvement.
