About The Position
The Clinical Postdoctoral Fellow is primarily responsible for the treatment workflow at The Gambling Clinic. The role includes supervising clinical staff and peer recovery specialists, overseeing clinic documentation, and developing and implementing post-treatment evaluations and services. A portion of the position is dedicated to professional development, including applying for licensure.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Familiarity with gambling addiction, research, and treatment is required.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; the employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one supervision to trainees.
- Lead one supervision team.
- Provide didactics as required.
- Review clinical notes.
- Supervise the Peer Recovery Specialist.
- Collaborate with the Client Retention Manager on client-flow challenges.
- Complete follow-up assessments.
- Develop post-treatment supports.
- Participate in supervision with MKG.
- Pursue professional development, including application for licensure.
- Perform other duties as assigned or negotiated.
