About The Position

The Clinical Placement Specialist is responsible for securing and coordinating clinical and practicum placements across undergraduate and graduate nursing programs that support students’ academic and professional success and aligns with the course programs and outcomes. The specialist will build and maintain relationships with students, clinical sites, preceptors, and faculty to ensure timely, high-quality experiential learning opportunities that meet program requirements. Through proactive outreach, partnership development, and exceptional customer service, the Placement Specialist supports student and preceptor retention, program success, and high-quality clinical education experiences while ensuring compliance with academic, accreditation, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years of relevant experience in healthcare education, student services, customer service, administrative support, or operations.
  • Experience in customer service, administrative, operations, or student support roles.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team-oriented, service-driven environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging diverse stakeholders, including students, faculty, and external partners.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with a customer-service mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with clinical placements, compliance processes, or healthcare education programs.
  • Familiarity with CRM, learning management, and collaboration systems, including InPlace, myClinicalExchange (myCE), Exxat, DISA, Salesforce, Canvas, Google Drive, Box, and similar platforms.
