About The Position

The Supervisor, UM Administration contributes to the administration of utilization management. This role works within thorough, prescribed guidelines and procedures, using independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors to solve basic problems. The Supervisor collaborates with management and top professionals/specialists in the selection of methods, techniques, and analytical approaches. The Supervisor provides support for and supervises a group of typically support and technical associates, coordinating and providing day-to-day oversight. This role ensures consistency in execution across the team, holds team members accountable for following established policies, and leads a team of 14-25 associates. Decisions are typically related to schedule, plans, and daily operations.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or 1 - 3 years experience in a team leadership or supervisory position
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Able to give direction and make sound business decisions
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement and engage in ethical behavior
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in an operational setting
  • General understanding of economic, financial and operational concepts
  • Previous supervisory experience in a call center setting

Responsibilities

  • Performs escalated or more complex work of a similar nature, and supervises others.

  • Helps team achieve goals and has responsibility for personnel issues, including required discipline.
  • Identify projects and process improvements to drive business forward.
