About The Position

Sentara Health is hiring a Remote Clinical Pharmacist. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring 40 hours per week. The work hours are from 8 am to 5 pm EST, with a rotating weekend schedule (1 weekend every 4 weeks) and rotating holidays (1 holiday per year). Flexibility to work additional hours as needed is expected, and the work schedule is subject to change based on business needs. The role requires comprehensive knowledge of current pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, pathologies, disease state and population management, and age-appropriate therapy related to medical and/or pharmaceutical care management.

Requirements

Bachelor's Level Degree in Pharmacy required
Pharmacist License in VA
Willing to get a secondary license in FL
Must have Florida license within 90 days of Sentara start date.
At least 3 years of experience (or a residency in managed care could count in lieu of experience)
Experience with online pharmacy adjudication systems required (i.e., PA Hub)

Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of current pharmacotherapeutic principles, medical terminology, pathologies, disease state and population management, age appropriate therapy, and other information as related to medical and/or pharmaceutical care management.
