Clinical Pharmacist
About The Position
The Clinical Pharmacist will dispense medication in response to a physician's order and provide clinical pharmacy services including drug information, preparing doses, and checking work done by a technician prior to dispensing. They will also prepare, compound, and dispense medication consistent with department policy, and rules and regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy, Department of Public Health, and JCAHO. Requirements
- Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License
- BLS or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
- At least one year experience as a registered pharmacist; or previous hospital experience- limited time away from institutional practice
- Ability to prioritize orders, perform multiple tasks and work in a team environment
Nice To Haves
- Pharmacy Practice Residency or equivalent experience preferred
