This role supports system pharmacy education strategy, including ACPE continuing education, preceptor development, and education committees. It involves managing monthly subcommittee agendas for system adult and pediatric formularies, as well as the Ambulatory Medication Management Committee. The position will develop and manage medication use evaluations, engage in formulary metrics and high-cost drug stewardship, and organize formulary engagement in system stewardship efforts. Additionally, it supports accreditation and policy software needs, develops and conducts tracers (e.g., policy), and assists with drug information and analytic needs across acute and ambulatory spaces. The role includes maintaining a website, serving as newsletter editor, monitoring pipeline medications, and participating in advocacy for medication-related legislation. Precepting pharmacy students and residents, pursuing publication and presentation opportunities, and assisting with budget forecasting and management are also key responsibilities. The role may also involve completing projects and IRB-approved research related to clinical pharmacy and medication use improvement. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned, complying with all policies and standards, and adhering to requirements for safely and securely maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI).
