About The Position

Clinical Pharmacist for Maternal/Child at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Full-Time/Day Shift Providence St. Vincent Medical Center is a 523-bed community teaching hospital and tertiary referral center, which serves as the pediatric center for the Providence Oregon Region. The Clinical Pharmacist – Maternal/Child provides care to patients in our Level III NICU, general pediatric ward, and Obstetrics/L&D. The clinical pharmacist works closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide direct patient care, including responding to medical emergencies. The clinical pharmacist also serves as a preceptor for our pharmacy residents and student pharmacists. Our clinical pharmacists work 10-hour shifts (weekdays and every third weekend) which will be primarily days and evenings. The Clinical Pharmacist has the responsibility for the provision of high-quality, individualized, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and integrated pharmacy operational services in collaboration with the healthcare team to optimize patient's medication therapy outcomes and quality of life. Requirements

  • PharmD Pharmacy or bachelor's degree in pharmacy
  • Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Acute care hospital pharmacy experience, 1 year or equivalent experience
  • Completion of ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency

Responsibilities

  • Provides care to patients in our Level III NICU, general pediatric ward, and Obstetrics/L&D.
