About The Position

Staff Pharmacist, Investigational Drug Service Full-Time, 1st shift, Days, M-F. No weekends, no holidays. Winston Campus. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses. Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing, optimizing staff utilization. Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes. Contribute to quality improvement efforts through teamwork. Continuously update and document skills and knowledge. Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations. Set personal goals to support departmental objectives. Provide appropriate age care following guidelines. Foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) is required.
  • Current state pharmacist license is required in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
