About The Position

The Investigational Drug Service (IDS) plays a vital role in bringing new and innovative therapies to patients. In this position, you’ll support both the clinical and operational sides of our IDS program, helping ensure that patients enrolled in research studies receive safe, accurate, and timely medication care. Requirements

  • License to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of New York
  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree; or
  • Master’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience; or
  • Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) of full-time clinical pharmacy or pharmacy-related experience.
  • Experience with medication preparation, handling, or pharmacy support
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-based healthcare environment
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Interest in clinical research, oncology, or investigational therapies

Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, dispensing, and management of investigational medications
  • Ensure accurate handling, storage, and documentation of study drugs
  • Work closely with pharmacists, research teams, and clinical staff to support trial protocols
  • Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and safety standards
  • Help coordinate medication-related aspects of clinical trials from start to finish
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to keep the IDS running smoothly
