About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing, people-oriented communicator to join our medical clinic team as a Clinical Patient Advisor. In this role, you will act as a trusted point of contact for prospective patients who have completed a consultation for a vision correction procedure (LASIK or IOL surgery), helping them navigate to a confident decision.

Requirements

  • You are warm, poised, and engaging, and people trust you easily
  • You understand how to guide someone from hesitation to clarity, through presence and insight
  • You are highly articulate and have experience in high-touch roles such as client services, health care, aesthetics, hospitality, or coaching
  • You understand timing and verbal pacing. You know when to reassure, when to listen, and when to help someone make the next move
  • You’re comfortable discussing pricing with discretion and professionalism
  • You’re detail-oriented and organized. Someone who can juggle multiple files while staying focused
  • You are results-oriented and able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of English required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our English-speaking patients).
  • You are available to travel to our clinics located in the GMA for training and/or work.

Nice To Haves

  • At least two years of experience in consultative sales, client development, or any results-driven role is considered an asset.
  • Experience in the medical, aesthetic, optical, or luxury service sectors is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support patients throughout their journey and play a key role in their decision-making process, while contributing to the clinic’s growth and achieving patient conversion goals.
  • Meet with prospective patients immediately following their pre-operative assessment
  • Serve as a bridge between clinical expertise and personal decision-making, translating medical information into clear, personalized value.
  • Clarifying information they received from the medical team
  • Helping patients navigate their decision with clarity, compassion, and confidence
  • Clearly and transparently present vision correction options, benefits, and financial aspects
  • Guide patients through pricing options and payment methods
  • Adapt your communication approach to match each patient’s mindset, concerns, and motivations
  • Book surgery dates and coordinate logistics
  • Maintain accurate records in the patient file and follow compliance standards
  • Maintain a high rate of patient follow-through to treatment using trust-building strategies and proactive, personalized follow-ups
  • Record short, personalized video messages, voice messages or calls to patients as reminders, or warm touchpoints to improve treatment follow-through, as required
