About The Position
The Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine of Rowan University is seeking applications for a faculty position in Clinical Pathology. This is a full-time, 12-month academic role, with the rank of Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The appointment can be on a tenure or clinical track, based on the candidate's qualifications and goals. As a founding faculty member of the SSVM, the successful candidate will significantly contribute to the development and delivery of an integrated veterinary curriculum focused on organ systems. Clinical service duties will involve diagnostic services at the SSVM teaching hospital, a 50,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility offering comprehensive care for various animal types. Scholarly activity is expected to advance clinical pathology through research and knowledge dissemination, with the extent varying based on the appointment track. Salary will be determined by the applicant's experience and qualifications.
Requirements
- DVM or equivalent degree.
- Eligible for licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- ACVP or ESVCP board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical Pathology.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
Responsibilities
- Play an integral role in the development and delivery of an integrated veterinary curriculum constructed around organ systems.
- Provide diagnostic service conducted at the SSVM teaching hospital.
- Engage in creative scholarly activity to advance the discipline of clinical pathology through the creation and dissemination of new knowledge.
