About The Position

Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Massachusetts is seeking a BC/BE clinical pathologist to join a group of four clinical pathologists in the Division of Laboratory Medicine. The successful candidate would participate in and be responsible for several critical functions of the laboratory. Current needs include assistance in core laboratory management and informatics. An interest in these areas is preferred, but fellowship training or board certification is not required. Board eligibility in Clinical Pathology with certification within one year is necessary. Diversification to other interests in laboratory services may be possible. In addition, growth of the Beth Israel Lahey Health System is expected to increase demand for services, as well as require integration with other hospital laboratories. There is ample opportunity to interact with clinical staff through interdisciplinary conferences and committee participation.

Requirements

Board eligibility in Clinical Pathology
Certification within one year of hire
Vaccinated against influenza (flu)
