AP/CP Pathologist
About The Position
Laboratory Medicine Consultants Ltd. (an affiliate of Sonic Healthcare USA) is excited to announce an opening for a full-time Clinical Pathologist to join our dynamic, multi-specialty practice in Las Vegas, Nevada. The successful candidate will serve as the Medical Director for a clinical core laboratory servicing a six-hospital healthcare system. Responsibilities include the oversight of clinical laboratory testing at the core lab and at the "stat" laboratories located at each hospital site. This role places a major emphasis on Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology. LMC is a multi-specialty, multi-state group of 23 pathologists providing AP/CP Pathology and Transfusion Medicine services to numerous hospitals, surgery centers, and outpatient facilities throughout Southern Nevada and Northern Arizona. This position plays a vital role in our services in the vibrant Las Vegas area.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Clinical Pathology (CP or AP/CP).
- Comfortable working independently in a hospital or core laboratory setting.
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with clinicians, administrators, and laboratory staff.
Nice To Haves
- A fellowship in Transfusion Medicine and/or Microbiology is preferred.
- Strong clinical experience and demonstrated competency in Transfusion Medicine and Microbiology.
