About The Position
UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager for their Professional Cardiology Clinic. This full-time role involves providing leadership and operational oversight to a collaborative team dedicated to improving patient heart health. The manager will partner with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff to drive efficient clinic operations, quality outcomes, continuity of care, and an exceptional patient experience. Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
- Current State of Michigan LPN or RN License (RN preferred).
- Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP).

Responsibilities
- Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives that support the organization's strategic plan and vision.
- Manages staff relations, including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict resolution.
- Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
- Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
- Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
- Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
- May provide patient care when necessary.
- Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
