About The Position

UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Clinical Operations Manager for their Professional Cardiology Clinic. This role provides leadership and operational oversight for the Cardiovascular Clinic, fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. The manager will partner closely with physicians, APPs, nurses, and support staff to drive efficient clinic operations, quality outcomes, continuity of care, and an exceptional patient experience. Requirements

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelor’s preferred).
• Current State of Michigan LPN or RN License (RN preferred)
• Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

Nice To Haves

• 5-years office management experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assists with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization.
• Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management.
• Performs and oversees scheduling, staff development, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and vendor relations.
• Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies.
• Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments.
• May provide patient care when necessary.
• Creates and fosters an environment that encourages professional growth.
