About The Position

The Clinical Operations Manager, Pulmonary Rehabilitation, will oversee the pulmonary rehab program, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care that is both operationally efficient and scalable. This person will lead program development, standardize workflows, and manage/hire contractor staff. Working closely with clinical, product, and operations teams, the manager will serve as the central driver of program quality, compliance, and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare program management, care management, or population health, preferably in a virtual or value-based care setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pulmonary rehab and cardiac rehab program operations and compliance.
  • Proven track record in contractor hiring, people management, team building, and staff development.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive program improvement and report on outcomes.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with digital health platforms, EHRs, and remote care models is a plus.
  • NYC-based candidates excited to work IRL 3+ days per week strongly preferred; remote options may be considered for exceptional candidates

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the pulmonary rehabilitation program in alignment with organizational goals and clinical best practices.
  • Standardize and optimize workflows, protocols, and care pathways to ensure consistent delivery of pulmonary rehab services.
  • Identify opportunities for innovation and program expansion by leveraging patient data, clinical evidence, and market insights.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for pulmonary rehab, including functional outcomes, program engagement, and patient satisfaction.
  • Use data analysis to identify gaps, improve quality, and ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights to internal stakeholders to inform strategy and operations.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff and contractors involved in pulmonary rehab delivery, fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, set development goals, and ensure appropriate staffing to support patient volumes and program growth.
  • Support clinical staff in delivering both group and individual education and exercise sessions.
  • Partner with the Head of Care Innovation and clinical leadership to integrate pulmonary rehab within the broader care delivery model.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, and partner teams to ensure seamless delivery of virtual pulmonary rehab programs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on pulmonary rehab for internal teams.
  • Ensure pulmonary rehab services meet CMS, Medicare, and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, protocols, and quality frameworks to support accreditation and compliance.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives across the program.
