You’ll bring sharp judgment and the ability to pick things up quickly to the fast paced, ever-changing environment of a startup to ensure that the clinical team is able to serve a diverse population of patients. This role is ideal for a person 0-4 years out of school who thrives in the chaos of medicine and can juggle multiple things at once. Clinical training is welcome but not required. What matters more is that you are smart, meticulous, and genuinely drawn to clinical work, because we would rather teach someone hungry vs. hiring around a credential. This Role comes with significant growth and leadership opportunity: High performers here will be on track to take over many aspects of the clinical operations function, including hiring and building out their own team, within 6 months. From triaging clinical urgency, to coordinating care across a chain, you will be the touch point for nearly every aspect of patient care. You must be comfortable digging into records, expanding your knowledge of pharmacology and disease states, and communicating via phone/fax/email with providers and pharmacies. You should be able to anticipate issues, and must value clear, close-looped communication. Your role will be part pharmacy technician, part clinical liaison, and part creative-thinker. We’re growing very, very fast. You'll do work that matters on day one, because a patient getting their medication is not an abstraction. You'll see the whole board, not one corner of it; and you'll be trusted to fix real things, which is the fastest way to learn new skills.
