The Clinical Operations Director assumes responsibility and accountability for all patient care activities, department operations (primary care, urgent care, imaging, and lab services), and staff leadership, including directs and supervises all nursing, medical assistants, and technician roles to support those departments listed. This role serves as part of the RCMS leadership team and represents the organization in accordance with the organizational philosophy and objectives, fosters highly skilled professional practice and develops highly functioning interdisciplinary teams. Reviews and approves clinical operations policies and procedures that adhere to appropriate standards of patient care and service for licensed and certified positions. Assures ongoing quality improvement and population health programs are incorporated in clinical care and services delivered to patients. Facilitates process improvement activities to meet expected quality metrics. Serves as a catalyst for change within the organization and departments to advance patient care and staff engagement. Build and maintain relationships between patients, providers, clinical support staff and the community. This Director’s impact will extend beyond the clinical environment as this role will collaborate with all RCMS leaders within the regional healthcare community and contribute to the community's well-being while bringing professional experience and perspective to the broader organizational leadership team.
