About The Position

IN THIS VITAL ROLE, YOU’LL PROVIDE ONE-TO-ONE OBSERVATION AND SUPPORT FOR PATIENTS, ENSURING A SAFE AND THERAPEUTIC ENVIRONMENT WHILE ASSISTING WITH DAILY LIVING ACTIVITIES.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to sit in quiet observation of patient for long periods of time without distraction.
- Experience in customer service or team-based environments a plus
- Current BLS (CPR) certification required
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to patient safety
Responsibilities
- Provide constant observation and personal care for patients requiring one-to-one support
- Assist with daily living needs: bathing, oral care, mobility, nutrition, and elimination
- Document patient interactions and observations accurately
- Identify and report behavioral changes or safety concerns to nursing staff
- Maintain a hazard-free patient environment and follow safety protocols during transport
- Support nursing assistants and serve as a preceptor for new team members
