About The Position

Sodexo is searching for a Clinical Nutrition Manager for HCA Rapides Regional Medical Center Hospital. RRMC is a 380-bed facility located in Alexandria, LA and offers a wide range of health care services. As the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will serve in a leadership role; manage the nutrition programs and provide direction and training to the team supporting operational excellence.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian with experience in an acute care setting.
Eligible for LA licensure before starting.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Good time management skills.
Be a self-starter and a team player.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Nice To Haves

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire.
In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.

Responsibilities

Serve in a leadership role, manage the nutrition programs and provide direction and training to the team supporting operational excellence.
Have strong clinical nutrition skills and be able to establish proactive relationships with the medical staff.
Be responsible for the clinical program, direct care of patients, as well as provide oversight for regulatory and accreditation preparation and visits.
Supervise client dietitians and collaborate with patient services.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the medical, ancillary staff, administration, as well as represent Sodexo for the facility.
Precept Dietetic Interns.
Assist General Manager in additional projects and tasks to enhance service culture and more.
Training and education of staff and personnel.
Working with the food and nutrition management team to achieve patient satisfaction goals.
