About The Position

Sodexo is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to serve as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital, a 240 bed tertiary teaching hospital in Lansing, Michigan. In this role, you'll also have oversight of the clinical program at three regional McLaren sites. This leadership role offers the opportunity to work closely with a team of CNM's across the system and elevate Clinicia, Sodexo’s global brand for clinical and patient nutrition, across a large, diverse network.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian credentials and acute care experience.
  • Supervisory or management experience.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
  • Experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) OR Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) for those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24.
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire.
  • At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.
  • 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a clinical nutrition program within the acute care setting.
  • Supervise a team of inpatient dietitians across four accounts (5.5 FTE).
  • Collaborate on the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system.
  • Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development.
  • Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
