About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a High‑Level Clinical Nutrition Manager / Director (Registered Dietitian) to provide strategic and operational leadership for inpatient and outpatient clinical nutrition services at Keck Medicine of USC, with oversight supporting locations including USC Norris Cancer Center, Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for driving clinical quality, regulatory compliance, program growth, and the development of a high‑performing Registered Dietitian team within a complex academic healthcare environment.

Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • 10+ years of progressive management experience, including acute care clinical nutrition
  • Experience leading large teams within an academic medical center or complex healthcare environment
  • Strong expertise in regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and people leadership
  • Proven ability to lead large teams and manage complex clinical and operational environments
  • Excellent communication skills, leadership presence, and strategic thinking
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
  • Minimum Management Experience - 10 years management experience
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 10 years related functional experience

Nice To Haves

  • Senior-level clinical nutrition leadership experience in an acute care or academic medical center (preferred)
  • Master’s degree in Nutrition, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic and operational leadership for Clinical Nutrition services
  • Lead inpatient and outpatient programs, including growth of outpatient clinics
  • Represent Clinical Nutrition on key interdisciplinary and medical committees
  • Present clinical quality metrics and outcomes to leadership
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and state regulations.
  • Oversee peer reviews, chart audits, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a large team of Registered Dietitians
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, performance management, and professional development
  • Manage department operations, budget, productivity, and nutrition informatics
