About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Clinical Nutrition Manager position at Hackensack Meridian Southern Ocean Medical Center, a 176-bed community hospital in Stafford Township, NJ. In this leadership role, you will collaborate closely with a team of Clinical Nutrition Managers across the Hackensack Meridian Health system while helping to strengthen and advance Clinicia, Sodexo’s global brand for clinical and patient nutrition. This is a unique opportunity to drive innovation and elevate nutrition services across a large, diverse network.

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential
• 3+ years' experience as an experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
• At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
• A strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
• In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
• In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Responsibilities

• Manage the inpatient clinical nutrition program, including supervision of a team of 2.5 registered dietitians
• Advocate to expand and promote the role of clinical nutrition throughout the facility
• Foster a culture of learning that promotes career growth and professional development
• Proactively seek out and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders who are integral to moving department efforts forward
• Drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects
• Collaborate on the implementation and management of Sodexo’s meal service program and menu management system
