About The Position

Sodexo has an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager II to manage the clinical program at HCA Florida Capital Hospital in Tallahassee, Florida. Capital Regional is a 288 bed facility that serves a variety of patients including, pediatrics, NICU, cardiovascular, behavioral health, inpatient rehabilitation and bariatrics. This role involves overseeing all day-to-day clinical nutrition services, managing the dietitian team, and leading and developing a diverse clinical staff across inpatient and outpatient settings, including adult and pediatric care. The Clinical Nutrition Manager will serve in a leadership role on the Food and Nutrition Services team, be responsible for executing and maintaining Sodexo standards for clinical nutrition programs, and integrate fully within the client's organization to become a trusted advisor and member of the accounts leadership team. The position will represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees and work towards continuous improvement in patient satisfaction, safety, and clinical outcome scores.

Requirements

  • Be a Registered Dietitian with acute care experience and demonstrate a great clinical knowledge base
  • Have proven supervisory or management experience with an aptitude for program growth and development
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills
  • Experience with regulatory accreditation, regulatory readiness and review, and establishing and maintaining standards of care
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24: Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
  • At least 13 months experience supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes
  • 3 years as experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to developing practitioners
