About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian for a Hybrid Clinical Nutrition Manager position at UNC Rockingham Hospital, a 105-bed hospital with an attached 121-bed long term care facility in Eden, NC. This role offers a flexible work schedule and the opportunity to work up to 2 days remotely. It's a great opportunity for a new dietitian with a strong interest in management or an experienced Dietitian looking for a new challenge.

Requirements

Registered Dietitian credentials and licensure in NC.
Excellent communication, leadership, and customer service skills.
Experience with regulatory accreditation and establishing and maintaining standards of care.
A strong commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care.
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day management of the clinical nutrition program.
Train, mentor, and supervise one dietitian.
Support ongoing Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.
Provide training and education to department staff and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Collaborate with the food service operations team regarding meal provision and menu management.
Precept nutrition students and dietetic interns.
Ensure regulatory and company standards are being upheld.
