Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with 2+ years of experience
  • Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in states where applicable
  • Healthcare experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of clinical nutrition professionals.
  • Design and implement clinical nutrition strategies that enhance patient care and align with operational goals.
  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on nutrition and lifestyle strategies to support sustainable, long-term wellness to patients, families, staff, and the community.
  • Integrate evidence-based research and standards into daily nutrition care that align with the nutrition care manual and department/facility policies and procedures.
  • Partner with interdisciplinary teams and participate in QAPI initiatives to continuously improve outcomes.
  • Work closely with food service leadership on menu and nutrition formulary management, regulatory standards, and patient experience.
  • Support department staff and intern development as applicable through coaching, training, and education.
