As a Part-Time Clinical Nursing Instructor, you will work directly with nursing students in real-world clinical settings, helping them develop the confidence, clinical judgment, and skills needed to become compassionate and capable nurses. This role allows you to continue your own professional nursing practice while sharing your current, real-world experience. Requirements

Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Nevada
Master's degree in Nursing
2–3 years of clinical nursing experience

Nice To Haves

Previous teaching, precepting, mentoring, or clinical education experience
Experience as a preceptor, mentor, charge nurse, clinical leader, or in a guidance role.

Responsibilities

Guide nursing students through hands-on clinical experiences in local healthcare settings.
Connect real-world nursing practice to students' coursework.
Coach and mentor students in developing clinical skills, judgment, communication, and confidence.
Observe student performance and provide meaningful feedback and evaluation.
Identify opportunities for additional student support and help students develop through coaching and remediation.
Collaborate with Joyce faculty and staff to ensure a consistent, student-centered learning experience.
Stay current in nursing practice and bring current clinical knowledge into teaching.
Participate in select university activities such as faculty meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation.
