Clinical Nurse - Inpatient Unit
About The Position
Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse wanting to step into a Clinical Nurse role to join our Inpatient Unit team, in this full time, maximum term parental leave 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and supportive clinical environment where you will provide high-quality, patient-centred care to a diverse inpatient cohort. As a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, you will play an integral role in delivering safe, evidence-based care while supporting patients and their families throughout their healthcare journey. Requirements
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- 2 years post grad experience as a Registered Nurse working in the Medical/ Rehab environment
- Ability to work in an ever-changing and fast paced environment
- A strong work ethic, positive attitude and willingness to role model and promote the Mater values
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with a variety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning and strong listening, negotiation and decision-making skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is always delivered to patients

- Delivering optimal patient outcomes throughout every stage of the patient journey and continuum of care
- Applying exceptional clinical expertise and comprehensive knowledge of procedures to manage patients with outstanding care
