About The Position

Mater Hospital Springfield is seeking a Registered Nurse in our Surgical Ward to join the team in a permanent part-time or full-time basis (negotiable). This role will be based in the private ward within Mater Springfield Hospital. The main specialties we cover are: Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology, Urology, General Surgery.

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximise patient care and outcomes
• Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
• Demonstrates a collaborative and engaging approach to teamwork and the ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team

Nice To Haves

• 12 months postgraduate surgical experience

• Displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit
• Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
• Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
