About The Position

Maine Medical Center is hiring a Clinical Nurse II for its 20-bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. In accordance with professional nursing standards and applicable policies, the nurse assesses, diagnoses, identifies outcomes, plans and implements care, documents it, and evaluates its effects. Care coordination may span inpatient, outpatient, ambulatory, and community settings. The unit emphasizes clinical excellence, evidence-based practice, the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s ICU Liberation Bundle, shared governance, teamwork, interdisciplinary partnership, and continuous learning.
