About The Position

This Clinical Nurse Specialist Fellowship (Outcomes Specialist) opportunity at IU Health West Hospital is for skilled Registered Nurses looking to advance their careers in a dynamic and supportive environment. Requirements

  • Requires advanced clinical skills; with appropriate credentialing based on the patient population (this is often reflected in an advance degree in the field of specialization; i.e. MSN or RRT.

  • Requires strong computer skills and proficiency in applicable software (spreadsheet; database; etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and evaluate programs tailored for outcomes management across designated patient populations.
  • Provide education, advanced consultation, and management support for key service lines.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to ensure top-notch care while managing clinical costs and enhancing service outcomes.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to assess care pathways, identifying opportunities for quality enhancement and cost savings.
  • Spearhead initiatives focused on resource utilization and develop data-driven evaluations for continuous performance improvement.
