Clinical Nurse Practitioner (NP) - PRN
About The Position
The purpose of the Clinical Nurse Practitioner is to provide oversight for infusions being administered in our ambulatory infusion centers. Palmetto Infusion provides comprehensive ambulatory and home-based infusion services to both acute and chronically ill patients. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Active Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in the state(s) of practice.
- Experience in family physician setting.
- Possesses strong knowledge of chronic disease states as well as current and emerging therapies.
- BLS.
- Proficient at partner programs (i.e.: MS Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to cope with ambiguous, changing environment while under pressure in a calm manner.
- Must be able to work as a team member and develop productive and cooperative working relationships with all members of the Palmetto Infusion team.
Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for infusions being administered in the AIC.
- Work alongside with nurses and other NPs/MDs.
- Perform as a provider and nursing functions as needed.
- Travel to other AICs when needed for adequate coverage for all AICs.
- Maintain strong knowledge of all existing and developing infusion therapies.
- Uphold the confidentiality of protected health information and follow all HIPAA policies.
