Clinical Nurse Manager Medical Surgical Oncology-Nights
About The Position
The Clinical Nurse Manager leads the oncology service line at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, applying evidence-based nursing practice and working to improve the patient care experience. This is a full-time night position with four shifts per week, including weekend coverage and some flexibility based on the service line’s operational needs. The night shift is 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. The role is part of a nursing environment focused on patient outcomes, professionalism, compassionate care, shared clinical decision-making, and collaboration. The position requires on-site presence; employees should live within commuting distance of NewYork-Presbyterian. Travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- At least two years of acute care registered nurse experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Current New York State RN license, or willingness to obtain one.
- BCLS certification.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Previous management experience.
- Master’s degree, or currently attaining one.
- Oncology certification.
- Two years of acute care oncology RN experience.
