About The Position

The Clinical Nurse III contributes to creating a compassionate and caring environment for patients, families, and colleagues through kindness and active listening. Responsibilities include implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and special tests, and documenting care according to company policy and regulations. The nurse will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions, evaluate patient needs and responses to care, and apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management. This role also provides primary and emergency care for injuries and illnesses, administers medications, and collaborates with the nursing team to develop a Plan of Care. The Clinical Nurse III will direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain professional nursing standards. This position may require access to sensitive information, including HIPAA Protected Health Information, and workforce members are expected to adhere to "need to know" principles and protect information from unauthorized access.

  • Provides primary and emergency care for occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
  • Administers over-the-counter and prescription medications as ordered
  • Collaborates with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients
  • Directs and guides ancillary personnel and maintains standards of professional nursing
