About The Position
This role is considered the minimum role for nurses with greater than 12 months of experience. The Clinical Nurse II provides and coordinates independent care to patients within a clinical specialty as a fully effective and participative member of the multidisciplinary patient care services team.
Requirements
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland, or eligibility to practice through a Compact state agreement recognized by the Maryland Board of Nursing.
- Up-to-date status on all mandatory training and classes.
- One year of nursing experience.
- Solid knowledge and clinical skills.
- Diploma in nursing or an associate degree in nursing.
- Current BLS certification.
- Unit-based licensure as required for the role by the unit or department; examples include Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), STABLE certification, ACLS, and Trauma 101.
- Maintain 10 contact hours of education every two years.
- Recent applicable clinical experience in a comparable setting.
Responsibilities
