About The Position

At NorthBay Health, a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool provides safe, effective, quality, and excellent nursing care to patients, adhering to Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model. The role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care. The nurse will utilize a therapeutic professional relationship with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote, maintain, and restore health. The NorthBay Way principles of Caring, Communication, Collaboration, and Competence are integral to daily practice. In this position, the RN may float to all nursing areas within the two hospitals, based on individual competencies.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Competent in various nursing areas to float effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, effective, quality, excellent nursing care to patients.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for all assigned patients.
