Seasonal Clinical Nurse - Endoscopy Center- Days
About The Position
InterHealth Medical Staffing Solutions, a staffing division of Tampa General Hospital, is seeking a Clinical Nurse for a 13-week contract in their Endoscopy Center. This role offers significantly higher base pay, generous shift differentials, and benefits for purchase. As part of a Magnet-designated nursing team, this position provides opportunities for full-time or part-time conversion and potential contract extensions. Applicants must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience within the specific division and be competent to work independently. The nurse will deliver nursing care to patients under general supervision, following established policies and procedures. Responsibilities include planning and implementing nursing care, documenting assessments, identifying and reporting situations requiring further intervention, formulating and communicating a goal-directed plan of care, and ensuring patient rights. The role requires adherence to the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital and principles of quality improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specific division being hired into.
- Deemed competent to work independently.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Bachelor's in nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
- Prior Endoscopy, Operating Room, or procedural experience required.
- ICU/PACU experience required.
- BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
